About NTH Mumbai:

National Test House Mumbai was started in the year 1963 at Sewri, Mumbai and subsequently shifted to its own larger building at MIDC, Rarol, Andheri (East) in the year 1982. It has laboratories under the following three broad groups:

I. Chemical Division
II. Electrical Division
III. Physio-mechanical Division
                a. Civil Engg. Div.
                b. Mech Engg. Div.
                c. Non-Destructive testing Div.
                d. Rubber, Plastic, Paper & Textile.

NTH, Mumbai has been testing raw & finished Engg. Metal, products, structure etc. for the purpose of quality evaluation, quality assurance and quality audit and development since 1963.

NTH Mumbai is an accredited laboratory under National Accrediation Board for testing & calibration laboratory (NABL) adopting the quality system as per ISO/IEC-17025 since 1999 to till date. The test & calibration report of NTH, Mumbai are globally accepted due to Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) between International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (ILAC) & Asia Pacific laboratory Accrediation Co-operation (APLAC) & NABL. NTH Mumbai is also conducting training programme on different field of testing & calibration.

It delivers quality calibration services in the area of competence. All the measuring equipments/ standards used for testing / calibration have traceability to National/International standards. The management is committed to comply with the international standards ISO/IEC-17025-2005 & NABL specific criteria.
